Hi. I’m Mitch.

I’m a licensed therapist in New York.  I’m passionate about helping people move from fear, procrastination and depression toward the life they want to be living.

We all find ourselves getting stuck from time to time. We get hooked by unhelpful thoughts and engage in behaviors that hold us back. I can help you notice these patterns, understand how they got there, and learn to break free. 

It can be exhausting managing hurtful or challenging thoughts and emotions. Whether you tend to avoid them, let them make you feel bad about yourself, or get overwhelmed, it’s no fun being at odds with your own mind. I will work with you to create space to change the way you experience uncomfortable thoughts and feelings so they no longer weigh you down.

You will learn ways to make room for uncomfortable feelings in order to pursue the things that really matter to you. You will build skills enabling you to act with greater confidence with the knowledge that what you are doing is worth it. This applies even when it might be painful and challenging to do so.
