How much does therapy cost?
My rate is $175 for a 50-minute session for private pay individual therapy.
Do you take insurance?
Yes! I am in network with CIGNA health insurance.
For those with CIGNA health insurance, the amount you pay per session will vary depending on your insurance copay and whether you've met your deductible.
CIGNA rate (before meeting deductible): $115 per session
CIGNA copay (after meeting deductible): Typically ranges between $10 - $50 per session
Out of Network Reimbursement
You may also be able to get reimbursed for some of the cost of therapy using out of network benefits. However, please note that not all plans allow out-of-network benefits. If you plan to try for out of network reimbursement please call your insurance to inquire:
If you have out-of-network benefits
What they will reimburse for CPT code 90837 (individual therapy for at least 53 minutes).
How much is your OON deductible (the amount you have to meet before you would receive any reimbursement)
If you do have Out of Network benefits I can offer a detailed receipt (aka a ‘Superbill’) that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. The reimbursement rate will depend on your insurance.
